Oak Log Holder
A simple but practical project built for a client who has a cabin in British Columbia. They had a very specific area beside their fireplace and wanted to hold enough logs in the winter to avoid making several trips outside in the cold. The main case is made from oak laminated plywood with solid oak strips on the inside to protect the interior from the rough sides of the logs. This inexpensive project added a clean touch to an otherwise messy log holding situation and also matched to oak cabinets and floor that was the main feature of their cabin. These photos were not shot at the cabin in BC but in my living room.
